Thankful Tuesday

Last week when I was sick Richard came home with a present for me.

Why would a pen be so exciting you ask? This pen means so much to me because Richard bought it for my time in God's Word. I have been notating my Bible with a ball point, but it was very big. He went and bought me a tiny tipped pen, so I could write more notes.

Thank You!

He Has Skills

On Friday night we had the privilege of hosting our monthly Family Life Fellowship. We did a family picnic outside. This gave the children and adults a chance to run around and play. Here are a few pictures of our night.

Gearing up to show off his skills.

Getting started.

Look at him go.

Such beautiful brown eyes.

Weeeeee

Picnic on the lawn.

Daddy with his baby.

James goes everywhere him.

She is only doing this because her younger sisters did it. (Notice her face)

Always ready for the camera.

She was going so fast I am surprised she didn't fly off the front of it.

There he goes again.

The men discussing their lesson.

This monthly fellowship is a great time of friends, food and God's Word.

We are part of a community

Tonight our family had the privilege of hosting our Family Life group, for dinner and Bible study. It was a wonderful time in God's Word and enjoying each other's company. It was a tight fit, we had 8 adults and 11 children here.
The thing that stuck out to me during our study was that we are part of a community. During good times and bad we are here to help each other. Two of the verses we looked at were Galatians 6:1-2:
Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
God, is so good. He not only sent His one and only Son for our salvation, gave us His Word, allows us come to Him at anytime in prayer, but He also gave us a community to help us flourish.
Thank You God!
